Everyone who is a realtor in North Dakota knows that competition can be pretty tough. As more and more people jump into the real estate industry, you need to create better ways to stand above the competition. Oddly enough though, no matter how unique or witty you become with your marketing objectives, the majority of realtors forget about the elementary aspects of instilling and acquiring faith in their sellers and buyers.

Just remember that the majority of your clients will primarily be concerned about how well you execute the fundamental responsibilities and tasks of a realtor. This consists of things like treating your sellers and buyers appropriately and in an expert-like fasion, providing a large variety of listings that fit your client’s budget and needs, and a strong awareness of your local area.

Really, two of these three traits are taken care of by most real estate professionals, since they are pretty much required for having success in the industry. Developing an optimistic attitude should be something that you personally develop or get over time. On top of that, since your local franchise/branch or team will give you with a variety of listings for sale, all you need to do is match the best fitting properties to your clients.

The last characteristic that is known to separate the occasionally successful with the very successful realtors in North Dakota is their understanding of the North Dakota real estate market. You need remember that this is considered by most the largest investment someone will ever purchase. That being said, they will want the most insightful person they can get to help them make the right choice for their property in North Dakota.

Obtaining an accurate portrayal of the North Dakota real estate market is a continuous job, which is why a large groups of realtors don’t stick with it. Probably the primary reason why realtors in North Dakota don’t worry about maintaining knowledge in their local markets is because they imagine it too time-consuming and takes too much effort to know everything that is going on.

Lucky for you, that is not really the case these days. While most realtors in North Dakota don’t even worry about trying, there are resources available for you online which allow you to stay on track with everything going on in your local market on a daily basis.

One of the best resources is the free North Dakota real estate news platform from EstateAnalytics.com. It is all free and you can even choose to have the news from pretty much all the North Dakota real estate publications sent on a daily basis to your email address.

Through attaining updated insight on everything going on in your local North Dakota real estate market, you will be leaps and bounds ahead of other realtors. Your insight will gain the attention of both sellers and buyers: sellers will rapidly figure out that you’ll know the best price to sell their listing, and buyers can feel confident that have made an excellent decision to buy a property with you by their side. Having this kind of insight as well as providing additional value-added services such as real estate video will only strengthen the faith and trust buyers have with you.

With putting this confidence in both sellers and buyers, your reputation as a real estate agent will grow quickly, thus allowing you to become a lot more successful compared to your competitors.

Question: What is the weather normally like in North Dakota around December time?
I’m originally from California and i’m going to North Dakota to see a concert.
I wanted to know what to expect and what should I wear/bring with me.

Best answer:

Answer by Eric
I would say just wear/bring really thick things like snow jackets, snow shoes, snow pants, beanie (maybe), just stuff that will keep you warm. You should also bring maybe a few long-sleeve cloth and maybe one short-sleeve cloth just in case (you never know)

Temperatures and precipitation in North Dakota can vary widely. North Dakota is far enough north to experience −60 °F (−51 °C) temperatures and blizzards during the winter months.

Snow is the main form of precipitation from November through March.

Winter in North Dakota is characterized by cold (below freezing) temperatures and snowfall. Snow is the main form of winter precipitation, but freezing rain, ice, sleet, and sometimes even rain are all possible during the winter months. Common storm systems include Alberta Clippers or Panhandle hooks, some of which evolve into blizzards. Annual snowfall averages from 26 inches (66 cm) in the central part of the state to 38 inches (96.5 cm) in the northeast and southwest. Temperatures as low as −60 °F (−51 °C) have occurred during North Dakota winters.

I hope this help.(:

When you think of North Dakota, romance may not be the word that comes up first. In truth, romantic destinations in North Dakota are unique and excellent because they are true destinations from the hubbub of daily life.

Romantic Destinations in North Dakota

If you are looking to capture some of the adventurous spirit of the historic United States, North Dakota is the perfect place for you. Home to some of the most important historical events in the western part of the US, such as General Custer’s last stand, visits by Lewis and Clark and the exploits of Theodore Roosevelt – North Dakota has a proud and exciting history. It’s also a great place to take a trip to enjoy the beauty of this area of the country. Romantic destinations in North Dakota are enjoyable for couples from any region of the US.

The Chez Susanne, located in the city of Fargo, North Dakota (made famous by the movie of the same name) is a beautiful bed and breakfast that is listed on the National Historical Register. The building is known historically as the Lewis House, and its Victorian styling has been completely restored. There are two floors of three room suite accommodations, and all include many different amenities. A “continental plus” breakfast is served each morning, and all of the rooms include tea, coffee and a 24 hour snack room for anytime munchies. Each room has a private bath as well as a sitting room, making this b and b a great spot to spend some time together in seclusion.

Close to the city of Fargo is the city of Grand Forks, North Dakota. This Midwestern city offers hospitality in abundance, as well as many other amusements and reasons that people take their romantic destinations in North Dakota here. Close to the University of North Dakota, as well as the Riverwalk Center – which houses many specialty shops and stores, and the Columbia Mall, Grand Forks is a charming area in which to take your next trip. One bed and breakfast establishment that is sure to supply the romance you are looking for is the 511 Reeves Bed and Breakfast, located in the city’s historic district.

This b and b offers just three rooms, but the hospitality is that of a much larger resort. Enjoy the carefully selected antiques in your guest room, and also spend some time relaxing on the inn’s front porch or cozy living room with fireplace. Each of the rooms is decorated differently for a unique experience, and all include a delicious gourmet breakfast. Small weddings are even accommodated by the 511 Reeves Bed and Breakfasts, for a Victorian touch to your nuptials. Special packages for romance or other occasions can be arranged, including champagne and flowers.

Romantic destinations in North Dakota may seem a bit hard to come by, but if you look into the hearts of the cities and towns in this state, you’ll be sure to find an inn that will set your heart racing.

Far from the burgeoning crowds of US cities lies the still open prairie of North Dakota. New families are welcome here but it is lonely out there.

Question: why is unleaded plus cheaper than regular unleaded in North Dakota and South Dakota?
I’m traveling cross country right now and I’ve noticed that in North Dakota and South Dakota, the unleaded plus gasoline is the cheapest and unleaded regular is more expensive.
Why is this?
This seems so strange and counterintuitive to me.
In every other state I’ve ever been to, unleaded regular is the cheapest and unleaded plus is more expensive.
What the heck is going on in the Dakotas to make them do it backwards?

Best answer:

Answer by Pedro S
maybe they are trying to clear the tanks… and …maybe the oil co needs to get rid of some so it tells the stations to move the plus…y not ask them??

North Dakota is a state found in the Midwestern region of United States. This state is among the largest states in the U.S. In 2006, the population of North Dakota was estimated to be 640,000 people. The temperatures are a bit extreme in this state. It has a continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. The people in North Dakota are very religious. It has many churches. This state has been said by many people as a place that has very few places to go to and have fun but that is not entirely true. There are a couple of places you can go to and have a lot of fun, and if you are dating in North Dakota, you should not worry at all. There are parks to go to zoos and so many other places.

If you are dating in North Dakota you should visit one of their casino and experience a lot of fun. There is the Spirit Lake casino and resort. This casino has a lot of games that you can play and who knows, you might even make some good money in this casinos by winning big. There are a lot of crazy fun you can have here. If you do not want to go to the casino, you can go for a cruise in Lewis and Clark Riverboat. This boat has a capacity of carrying 150 people on board and it is an all weather paddle wheeler so it is pretty safe might a storm materialize. They have dinner cruise and moonlight cruise that you can take. They even have pizza cruises and if you love pizza why not have double fun by having a cruise and pizza at the same time. It is great fun.

When dating in North Dakota, make sure you pass by their zoo. The Dakota zoo has about 600 animals which includes lions and animals from the local area. They however have other things that you can do for fun when in this zoo. They have the Tribune Express and the Lan O’ Lakes Ice cream parlor that you and your date can go and enjoy some good ice creams. Apart from learning about the animals and enjoying seeing them, you also get a chance to do so many activities and this is real entertainment. You do not have to get bored in this place. While in North Dakota you can go and ride horses in Theodore Roosevelt National Park in their many marked trails for horse riding.

If you are dating in North Dakota you can go to the museums. The Roger Maris Museum is an example of a museum you can visit. The Dakota Dinosaur museum is another museum you can visit while in North Dakota. This museum has many things that have ben excavated from the area. The International Peace Garden is another place you can go to in North Dakota. This place has wonderful gardens that are very colorful and you will also have a chance of being in Canada and the same time being in the U.S and how good is that.

Sparsely populated North Dakota may not seem like an ideal moving destination to some but, as Priya David reports, there are many jobs available there in one of the bright spots of the economy.

Question: What should you have in north dakota if you go for work?
My husband is going to be a CDL driver in north dakota and we already know that the living conditions are bad but i was wondering if anyone could tell us some of the stuff that comes in handy. He plans on taking a rv or 5th wheel. Anything that helps out with work or living there especially in the winter.

Best answer:

Answer by kitty till to you
Make sure your RV is going to be fit for the winter, it gets very cold. Make sure you will have a place to park it when you get there. I would ask the oil CO he is going to work for to help him out. The living conditions are not all bad, NoDaks are some of the most friendly people you will ever find

ot a new job in another state? Or just simply planning to try a different state’s character? North Dakota welcomes new residents; people are friendly here, always helping new comers to settle. Before taking the final decision, a few information will help get more familiar with this state’s unique characteristics.

Located in northern America, North Dakota is one the few American states to have Canada as a neighbor. The state’s other neighbors include Minnesota, South Dakota and Montana. North Dakota has a small population of 640 000 residents. The low number reveals the fact that communities live often in rural rather than urban areas. In fact, only a tenth of the entire surface of North Dakota is populated, the rest of it being covered of land. Nature is abundant here and tranquil villages and small towns offer their inhabitants peaceful relaxing lives.

Because of the misunderstandings between the two sister states, when accepted in the Union, they had the ceremony on the same day. One state becoming part of the Union before the other sister state does, would led to serious fights between the two of them. Since then, North Dakota tried quite a few times to change its name into Dakota state, without the North in front of it, but all attempts failed.

North Dakota has Bismarck as its state capital.

North Dakota concentrates one of America’s largest numbers of Native Americans. People live isolated and tradition is well kept in the area. Learning seems to be important for North Dakotans, since they have one of America’s best educational systems, especially when it comes to primary and secondary schools.

Statistics show that the number of new coming residents is lower than the number of those who leave North Dakota. The reason why people leave is mainly the lack of jobs for specialized college graduated people. Agriculture is by far the major activity in this state. Sunflower growth exceeds any other state’s production.

Besides agriculture, which contributes significantly to the country’s food supply, mining comes second to increase the state’s incomes. Petroleum, lignite and natural gas are just a few examples of natural resources present in the area.

Climate changes extremely during the year, summers being awfully hot, while winters being very cold.

This agriculture based economy seems to cause North Dakota a great loss of residents every year. The issue of population decrease was nationally discussed several times.

People from across the country are flocking to North Dakota to seek work, but as Samuel Hicks found, a surplus of jobs doesn’t mean there’s any where to live. He’s camping out behind his workplace in the wind and rain, earning 000 a year more than he did in Iowa.

North Dakota is a top agricultural state, with 25-percent of the economy built around agriculture directly. Thirty-thousand or so farms and ranches produce spring wheat, barley, durum, canola (oil) and various pulse crops, such as peas and beans. The total population of the state is only 630,000 with half of it living on farms or rural communities. In terms of your North Dakota Incorporation, it may be in agriculture or even in cellulosic ethanol technology, one of the possible ways to increase production of ethanol for gasoline. Crops for ethanol and bio-diesel include corn, soybeans, canola and in the future, even switch grass, or other tough fibers. North Dakota is also a top producer of all wheat, honey, and other crops for vegetable oils. There is also livestock production, mainly cattle and calves. The wetter Red River Valley is dominated by farms, with the chief crops being sugar beets, soybeans and corn. Cattle ranches are more common in the southwest. Honey is produced in the central part of the state

North Dakota is also known for its wildlife and hiking trails, including part of the historic Lewis & Clark trail to explore the future United States. There are several casinos and other indoor entertainment as well. Theodore Roosevelt National Park is known as a perfect place to view the North Dakota Badlands. In Medora, near the park in western North Dakota, there are motels to stay at or you can stay at a working ranch. There is horseback riding and cattle ranching, and you are near the Maah-Daah Hey Trail. This 97-mile trail has camping facilities along its length. Cross Ranch State Park is along the Lewis & Clark trail and also has several miles of a totally undeveloped area of the Missouri River. There you can fish walleye, pike and bass. This area can be explored in the winter time by cross-country skiing.

The largest city in the state is Fargo, population 90,000, or in its metropolitan area, 190,000. The city sits on the Red River, in the flat region known as the Red River Valley. The city of Fargo has a growing economy based on food processing, manufacturing, technology, retail trade, higher education, and healthcare. The largest non-governmental employers in the city include MeritCare Health System, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Microsoft. North Dakota State University is the largest public sector employer in the city. Notable private companies include BBI International, a leading bio-fuels firm, Cass-Clay Creamery – a local creamery, and Microsoft. Phoenix International is a John Deere Company that manufactures electronics for on-road and off-road vehicles.

Bismarck is the capital of the state with a population of 55,000, and the main employer is the state government. It is also a regional medical center, with the Bismarck Cancer Center. It is also the home of three universities,

North Dakota has the only state-owned bank in the United States, the Bank of North Dakota. The bank, by law, holds all funds of all state and local government agencies in North Dakota. The North Dakota Mill and Elevator is a state-owned flour mill. BNSF and the Canadian Pacific Railway operate rail systems in the state.

Article by John Slater

In the center of this great country there lies a state with beautiful rolling plains and bright blue skies. North Dakota is known for its spectacular landscape formed by pristine green prairie grass, fluffy white clouds amidst a perfect blue sky, and striking sculpted land of sandstone, shale, and clay. Many people come to the state every year to enjoy such scenery and many leave with a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty of the land. Here vacationers come to sit back and relax and get an idea of what it is like to live in all the glorious seclusion that North Dakota is.

Although North Dakota’s scenery is a big reason for visitors vacationing in the state many individuals come here to explore the state’s rich history as well. Before North Dakota was claimed by France in 1682 and bought by the United States in the famed Louisiana Purchase there was a number of Indian tribes that lived in the state. Visitors are able to come here and explore the cultures of the Mandan, Chippewa, Yankton Sioux, Hidatsa, Arikara, and Teton Sioux Indian tribes at various historical sites and museums throughout the state. And those individuals who visit the state at the right time of year even have the opportunity to experience the United Tribes International Powwow in the city of Bismarck where a true prospective on Indian culture can be gained. The famed Lewis and Clark expedition also took place in the state of North Dakota as well. Meriwether Lewis and William Clark were sent by President Thomas Jefferson to explore the newly United States owned territory and the two lived in North Dakota during the winter of 1804 – 1805. There is so much rich history to explore in North Dakota that you may find yourself needing to make a separate trip just to gain all of the knowledge of history that the state has to offer.

The scenery is another reason for many visitors coming to the state of North Dakota. A number of rivers run through the state and visitors are able to enjoy a variety of water sports and activities throughout the state. The rivers that call the state of North Dakota home include the Yellowstone River, the Missouri River, the Souris River, the Sheyenne River, the James River, the Heart River, and the Little Missouri River. The Red River and the Bois De Sioux River are also reachable from North Dakota as it separates the state from its neighbor Minnesota. For those that prefer the relaxation of the lake over the fast moving river there are a number of lakes to enjoy as well. Vacationers can visit such lakes as Lake Sakakawea, Long Lake, and Devils Lake and Lake Traverse which both have reservations as well. Many visitors come here to enjoy camping in the peaceful surroundings as well as swimming, boating, and fishing. And don’t forget the Fort Berthold, and the Standing Rock reservations either where visitors can get a glimpse of nature at its purest. Wherever you decide to visit in North Dakota you’re sure to find yourself wishing you have more time to spend here.

When it comes to outdoor activities, North Dakota is hard to beat. Anytime of year. Camping, hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, horseback riding, it can all be found here in North Dakota.

But I think camping is the thing I like doing best in the summer months. Right here in my own backyard we have some of the best camping areas in the upper midwest. Whether you want to camp in the beautiful Badlands of Western North Dakota, or the river valleys of Eastern North Dakota. There is something here for all to enjoy. Discover North Dakota. (List of Camp Grounds in North Dakota can be found at my website, http://www.excelloutdoors.com)

Throughout the state along the Lewis and Clark Trail here in North Dakota we have some adventurous camping areas where hiking and/or biking is at its finest. Many miles of hiking and biking trails through out many areas of North Dakota. Our state parks here in North Dakota are as good as you’ll find anywhere.

Throughout North Dakota there are many interpretive centers where getting a real hold on the history and culture of this region can be had. So much past history can be found here in The Dakotas, wild west days, the railroad, the Lewis and Clark expedition, Teddy Roosevelt, Custer, Sitting Bull and so much more.

Most of these interpretive centers have camping near by, which means a good chance to really explore and learn the history of this area while camping out in the wild, where Mother Nature offers so much. Day hiking trails are in abundance through out North Dakota, so why not take advantage of this great resource, and pack up the family and hit the trails of North Dakota.

Question: Why do some idiots not believe north dakota exists?
I live on the Minnesota side of the Red River (Minnesota and North Dakota border) and often go into north dakota, to visit Target, Best Buy, or any other major national chain that there is. True, there aren’t 60 million people there with 50,000 per square mile, which people on the east coast think are needed for there to be a state. University of North Dakota Sioux hockey in grand forks is huge. Why do those who have never been there think the world ends at the red river?

Best answer:

Answer by John
I’m in north dakota now.

Of course it exists.

Article by Jamestown North Dakota Real Estate

Welcome to your home in Jamestown, North Dakota!

Are you considering purchasing real estate in Jamestown, North Dakota?

Founded in 1872 (incorporated 1883), Jamestown is the county seat city of Stutsman County, North Dakota in the United States. The population of Jamestown is roughly 16,000 people, making it the seventh largest city in North Dakota. Located at the confluence of the James River, a Missouri River tributary, and Pipestem Creek, Jamestown has a total area of just over 32 square kilometers, or roughly 12.5 square miles.

The James River is a great source of recreational activity for families living in Jamestown, ND. The Jamestown Reservoir, formed by a beautiful road-topped rock dam, provides a series of three interlocking lakes on the north end of the city perfect for watersports and recreational fishing. Jamestown also boasts two 18 hole golf courses, Hillcrest Golf Course and Jamestown Country Club. The Jamestown Civic Center hosts sporting events and concerts, and is the official home of the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame. And perhaps the diamond gem of the city, Jamestown is the proud groundskeeper of Jack Brown Stadium, one of America’s prized historic baseball parks.

The Jamestown Public Schools system operates five elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and one alternative high school; Jamestown also has two private elementary schools: Saint John’s Academy, a K-6 Catholic school, and Hillcrest School, a Seventh-day Adventist school. Founded in 1883, the private liberal arts school of higher education, Jamestown College, currently maintains an enrollment of approximately 1000 students, and is a key cultural landmark of the city. And Jamestown is seen as one of the country’s leading centers for the treatment and education of severely handicapped children thanks to The Anne Carlsen Center, a privately funded residential school.

Jamestown really is a great place to raise a family. Census statistics show there to be over 6500 homes in Jamestown, over a quarter of which have children under the age of 18 living with them. With a population of roughly 16,000 people, the community enjoys all of the quiet benefits of a small town, yet has the vibrancy and dynamic of an active modern city. Retail and wholesale businesses are many, from national chains to smaller locally-owned shops, while the town’s economy maintains a strong manufacturing and agricultural base. The Jamestown Regional Airport provides two round trip flights to Minneapolis on weekdays and a round trip on Saturday and Sunday.

As you can see, if you are considering purchasing Jamestown, ND real estate, you are making a great choice on a great North Dakota city. Whether it’s to raise a family, find a job, or just enjoy the laid back fun of a safe, smaller community, Jamestown has it all!
